Can I visit to see the puppies?

For the safety of our family and pups, we do not allow home visits.

Do you ship puppies?

We will be glad to make arrangements for you to either come pick up your puppy, meet halfway, or we will be glad to deliver to your door. Delivery fee is not reflected in pricing.

Question 3

When can my puppy come home?

All puppies are with parents in our home until they are at least 8 weeks old, smaller puppies may be held for a longer period. We do send quite frequently updated photos and videos until you receive your puppy.

Question 4

What does my puppy come with?

Accepted Answer

The puppy will come with AKC registration papers if applicable, all vet records, health guarantee in writing in our contract, health certificate from vet if out of state, food, toys, treats, blanket, food and water bowls, harness and leash.

Question 5

What is hypoglycemia and how do I prevent it?

Hypoglycemia means low blood sugar. Young puppies should have food available at all times, if your puppy becomes lethargic, sways when standing or walking, immediately give honey on roof of mouth, wrap in warm blanket on heating pad or hot water bottle, rush to vet.

How long do Chihuahuas live?

Chihuahuas are one of the longest living dog breeds and can live up to 20+ years with proper care, nutrition, and regular vet visits.

What food do you feed your puppies?

What is a Molera / soft spot?

Accepted Answer

Historically, Chihuahuas have a "soft spot" on the top of the head called a Molera (like the fontanelle in human babies). Some close completely as the dog matures; others remain small and are not harmful. It does not predispose the dog to hydrocephalus.

Question 9

What does "Pet Only" mean?

Pet Only means the puppy is not sold for breeding purposes — either they are too small for safe breeding or they don't meet show/breeding quality standards. These puppies still make wonderful companions!

Question 10

How big will my Chihuahua get?

Our Chihuahuas are bred to the breed standard, as in with any living creature, you are going to have some smaller ones and some larger ones, most of our puppies are 3 to 6 pounds.
